SKI Solar Charge Controller 12/24V

- Voltage
- 24 V
A solar charge controller for 12 V and 24 V systems, in 20 A and 30 A. The controller sits between the panel and the battery and decides how the battery gets charged — without one, a panel will happily cook a battery.
Sized by CURRENT, not by panel wattage: divide your array's output by the battery voltage to find the amps you need, and leave headroom. 20 A suits roughly 240 W of panel on a 12 V bank, or about 480 W on 24 V; 30 A suits roughly 360 W of panel on a 12 V bank, or about 720 W on 24 V.
This is small-system equipment — gate motors, camping, boreholes, a shed circuit. Systems with their own hybrid inverter do not need a separate controller.
Exact model and specification are confirmed in writing on your quote — we order in against it, so what you are quoted is what you get.
- Available 20 A and 30 A, for 12 V and 24 V battery systems
- Protects the battery from overcharge and over-discharge
- Suits gate motors, camping, boreholes and shed circuits
- Not needed where a hybrid inverter already manages charging
