Kingstar SPD 1000 DC 2-Pole
A two-pole DC surge protection device rated to 1000 V. It clamps the voltage spike from a nearby lightning strike before it reaches the inverter — cheap insurance on the most expensive box in the system, and on the Highveld it is not optional.
