A 30 kW three-phase hybrid inverter on a high-voltage battery — commercial and light-industrial scale, where the array and the storage bank are both large enough that low-voltage wiring stops making sense.
The high-voltage side is the point. It runs a battery bank at 160–800 V rather than 48 V, which means far less current for the same power: thinner cable, lower losses and better efficiency across the whole system. Deye accept up to 48 000 W of PV at this rating, with a maximum PV input voltage of 1000 V.
Output is three-phase with 100% unbalanced capability, so an uneven load across the phases does not dictate the size of the whole installation. Up to 10 units run in parallel, with multiple batteries paralleled behind them.
Maximum charge/discharge current is 100 A. It AC-couples to retrofit an existing solar system, takes six programmable charge and discharge windows, and will store energy from a diesel generator — which on a commercial site is often the difference between a backup plan and a real one.
